HM Land Registry HMLR: Index Map HM Land Registry’s Index Map data contains all registered title extents in England and Wales in an electronic format. Every title, whether freehold or leasehold, contains at least one index polygon. HM Land Registry HMLR: Notices HM Land Registry’s Notices data contains entries made in the Title Register to record and protect a third-party interest in land. They may be entered in the course of the land being initially registered or as part of the processing of certain types of dispositions. Someone claiming an interest in land may also apply for a unilateral or agreed notice. A unilateral notice does not require the consent of the registered owner, nor is the applicant obliged to provide evidence that the claimed interest is valid. An agreed notice can only be registered by the owner or with their consent, by someone entitled to be the owner, or an applicant supplying sufficient evidence of their claim.
