Sir Jeremy Heywood’s benefit in kind for 2013-14 has been restated so that it accords with the taxable benefit calculation for company car and fuel benefit charges as prescribed by HM Revenue and Customs. The change reflects the fact that Sir Jeremy’s benefit was only for home to office travel (as permitted by the Civil Service Management Code) and not for private use for the remainder of the day.
