Africa Ghana - Agreement on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons signed in Accra on 12 November subject to completion of procedures.  National Offender Management Service lead.
Africa Nigeria – Agreement on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons entered into force on 29 September.  National Offender Management Service lead.
Africa South Africa – Exchange of Notes to amend the Film Co-production Agreement exchanged on 28 October subject to completion of procedures. DCMS lead.
Americas No treaty actions during this period.
Asia/Pacific China – Articles of Agreement of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank laid before Parliament on 4 September. UK ratification due for completion in November.  HMT lead.
Eastern Europe and Central Asia Russia – Protocol of accession of the Russian Federation to the Convention of 16 December 1988 concerning the Construction and Operation of the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility laid before Parliament on 14 September. BIS lead.
Eastern Europe and Central Asia Kazakhstan – Treaty on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters signed in London on 3 November subject to completion of procedures. Home Office lead.
Europe Ireland – Driving Disqualifications Agreement signed in Dublin on 30 October subject to completion of procedures. DfT lead.
Europe Spain – Agreement for the Protection of Classified Information laid before Parliament on 4 September. Cabinet Office lead.
Europe Luxembourg – Agreement on the Protection of Classified Information signed in London on 8 September subject to completion of procedures. Cabinet Office lead.
Europe France – Agreement concerning Centres of Excellence Implemented as part of the “One Complex Weapons” Sector Strategy signed in Paris on 24 September subject to completion of procedures. MOD lead.
Middle East and North Africa Iraq – Agreement on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons signed in London on 8 October subject to completion of procedures. National Offender Management Service lead.
South Asia and Afghanistan India – Agreement on Co-operation in the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy signed in London on 13 November subject to completion of procedures. DECC lead.
Multilateral Agreements Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and its Protocol on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment entered into force for the UK on 1 November. BIS lead.
Multilateral Agreements Amendment to the Security Agreement on the European Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation (OCCAR) laid before Parliament on 14 October. MOD lead.
Multilateral Agreements The Paris and Brussels Protocols to amend the Convention on Third Party Liability on Nuclear Energy laid before Parliament on 21 September. DECC lead.
Multilateral Agreements Protocol to the Agreement on a Unified Patent Court on Provisional Application signed in Luxembourg on 1 October subject to ratification. Intellectual Property Office lead.
