The required solution needed to be internet based with a fully managed service for Agency users; have robust auditing processes; and have high quality Management Information / reporting available. The "customers" are the Procurement Team along with Market Entry / Exit team. Currently SFA have 44 E-Procurement licences, with use of a managed service, and 150 E-Evaluation licences, with access to technical support. The Agency uses these tools effectively for Education and Training, European Funded projects, and Goods & Services for the Agency and across BIS in collaborations and IT procurements. Achieving this timescale will enable the SFA to benefit from a transition to the Government’s HR Shared Service. If we are unable to achieve these timescales we would not be able to move to the Government’s HR Shared Service and would need to renew our licence agreement with Oracle and our supply chain that’s support he SFA current HR Service.
