4.Working Patterns
What does this tell us? Not set Not set Not set
The data presented here shows the percentage of employees with a part-time working pattern against their status in relation to each of the following protected characteristics: age; disability; ethnicity; and gender. Not set Not set Not set
There has been a small decrease in the proportion of staff that work part time; this is seen across all age groups. Not set Not set Not set
The percentages of those employees who identified themselves as being disabled or ethnic minority who work part-time are close to the values for the corresponding non-protected groups, suggesting similar behaviour. However the information provided for ethnicity and disability is such that there are smaller numbers of staff actually providing information in those groups than the numbers who have not provided any information. This makes any conclusions less definite. Not set Not set Not set
Part time working does show a large difference by gender. The table implies that women are considerably more likely to work part time than men. Not set Not set Not set
How will an improvement be shown? Not set Not set Not set
Generally the similarity of this indicator in a protected and non-protected group will indicate equivalent behaviour. However, this will require a reasonably complete level of information for disability and ethnicity and sufficiently large volumes to be precise. Not set Not set Not set
